The Importance of Daily Food Human beings  need daily food
Daily food is essential to human survival, health, and productivity. It serves not just as fuel for the body, but also as a keystone of physical development, mental sharpness,  interaction. Here are some major reasons why daily food is important:
1. Physical Sustenance and Energy
Food provides the calories and nutrients the body needs to function. Carbohydrates give quick energy, proteins build and repair tissues, fats support cell growth, and vitamins and minerals regulate vital processes like digestion and immunity.
Without daily food, the body begins to break down its own tissues for energy, leading to weakness, weight loss, and eventually, organ failure.
2. Mental Clarity and Brain Health
The brain uses a significant portion of the body's energy—about 20%—so it requires a steady supply of glucose and nutrients to stay sharp and focused. Nutrient-rich meals help with memory, concentration, and emotional regulation.
        Growth and Development
For children and adolescents, daily food is crucial for physical growth and brain development. Malnutrition during these stages can lead to stunted growth, delayed milestones, and reduced academic performance.
A child who eats well grows well—physically, mentally, and socially.

A balanced daily diet strengthens the immune system. Vitamins like A, C, and E, and minerals like zinc and iron, help the body fight infections and recover from illness more quickly.
Just as we, human beings need physical food for physical growth and development and to keep on living , the people of God need the spiritual food to  for spiritual  growth and to keep on living  spiritually,, - to keep  on growing in faith, in the love of God and in the Lord Jesus Christ.

THE  IMPORTANCE OF SPIRITUAL FOOD FOR THE CHILDREN  AND PEOPLE OF GOD
Our world today is saturated with
unspiritual voices: carnal, profane unpleasant stories, carnal, unprofitable philosophies,   unprofitable theories and distractions. Yet there remains one
worthy, significant voice that still speaks to the soul with unfailing truth: the compelling, authoritative voice of God through the bible. The Word of God is the food of the soul and spirit. Whereby we can live, grow and develop spiritually
The psalmist exclaimed that God's Word was sweeter than honey, more valuable than gold, and more essential than food. Jeremiah found joy in it. Job esteemed it more than his daily bread. Peter acknowledged that only Christ’s words bring eternal life.

1. Psalm 119:16 - "I will delight in your statutes; I will not forget your word."
2. Psalm 119:47 - "I delight in your commands because I love them."
3. Jeremiah 15:16 - "Your words came, and I ate them; they were my joy and my heart's delight."
4. Psalm 1:2 - "But whose delight is in the law of the Lord, and who meditates on his law day and night."

These scriptures highlight the importance of finding joy and delight in God's Word.

When we desire the Word of God, searching the scriptures,we are doing  ourselves a world of good,  because we are involved in the activity of seeking  the knowledge, thoughts, wills and plans, of God

“Thy words were found, and I did eat them; and thy word was unto me the joy and rejoicing of mine heart.” – Jeremiah 15:16

Let us return to the Word daily—not out of duty, but desire. Like newborn babies cry for milk, let our souls long for His voice, His truth, and His presence through Scripture.

Do you crave the Word of God more than daily entertainment, food, or social media?
Have you tasted the sweetness of Scripture in recent days?
